Cebu Pacific adds flight frequencies from Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao to key domestic and international destinations, to accommodate passenger demand during the summer peak travel period.
CEB will add a daily flight from Manila to the popular vacation spot of Bohol (Tagbilaran), for a total of 28 weekly flights beginning April 1, 2016.
The airline will also strengthen its Cebu hub with a total of 51 weekly flights between Cebu and Davao, gateway to the Philippines’ southern islands, beginning May 1, 2016.
Throughout the summer season, the airline will also increase frequencies from Cebu to the following domestic destinations: Bacolod (up to 17 weekly), General Santos City (up to 10 weekly), Kalibo (up to 17 weekly), Puerto Princesa (up to 22 weekly), and Zamboanga (up to 12 weekly).
Those flying between Cebu and Iloilo can choose among 16 weekly flights, with some flights upgraded from ATR to Airbus A320 aircraft to increase the number of available seats.
Within the first week of April, CEB also aims to meet robust passenger traffic in Visayas and Mindanao with additional three weekly frequencies between Iloilo and Davao, and two weekly frequencies between Davao and Zamboanga. Four weekly frequencies between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi will also be added starting May 1.
Meanwhile, passengers heading to Singapore can avail of more travel options as CEB ramps up its flights from both Iloilo and Davao to the Lion City. Beginning March 30, 2016, the airline will add one flight per week from Iloilo to Singapore, and another flight per week from Davao to Singapore starting April 2, 2016.
CEB’s Iloilo and Davao hubs will then operate three weekly flights each to Singapore.
“We hope to encourage our valued guests to cross more destinations off their travel bucket list, with our additional flights this summer. Passengers can maximize their vacation by taking advantage of our lowest year-round fares and widest flight network in the Philippines,” said Atty. JR Mantaring, CEB Vice President for Corporate Affairs.
Passengers travelling this summer may avoid long lines at the airport, by checking in via the official Cebu Pacific mobile app (which can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play), or via the Manage Booking section of the CEB website (www.cebupacificair.com). These fast check-in options are available from 72 hours up to 4 hours before an international flight, and up to 2 hours before a domestic flight.
