Travel All You Can All-Year Round, For Free

Juan for Fun 2016

WE ARE not kidding! One of the country’s airline companies, Cebu Pacific will give the winning team of this year’s season of their annual ‘Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge’ a one-year travel-all-you-can pass.

Imagine the places you could visit with that unli-flight pass. You would definitely be traveling all-year round. But here’s the catch: the challenge is open only for students or fresh graduates, ages 17-22.

Now on its 5th year, the challenge has brought Juan for Fun teams in different key destinations of the airlines, and have explored Cebu, Davao, Palawan, Cagayan de Oro, Camiguin, Iloilo, Bacolod, Siargao, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, among others.

Last year, Ateneo de Manila University students, Aaron Crisostomo, Asia Wy, and Kyle Favis of the Team Juan Big Fight were named as the Ultimate Backpackers. You could be the next winners.

The Challenge

Even before winning the challenge, the five teams that will be chosen based on an online application will be treated to seven-day escapade to some of the airline’s most exciting destinations, all for free.

“The challenge requires them to do the most number of fun activities with the given budget. The team who will be able to achieve the challenge goals will grab the grand prize,” Cebu Pacific said in a media statement.

Candice Iyog, CEB Vice President for Marketing and Distribution said, “Juan for Fun gives the next generation of travelers the unique opportunity to let their adventurous side run free. We encourage all 17-22 years old college and university students or fresh graduates from the Philippines to join our biggest Juan for Fun yet, and go with their friends on the adventure of a lifetime.”

The search for the next five teams of backpackers is now open. Interested participants should form a team of three, must take the traveler profile quiz at www.juanforfun.com and fill up the quick registration form. They also have to submit a simple one-minute audition video answering the question, “What will a one-year travel-all-you-can pass mean to you?” The five teams with the best answers and most fun, adventurous personalities will get to travel with friends for free, and get a shot at the Juan for Fun 2016 travel-all-you-can pass. Deadline of application is on May 15.

If you are within the age range of 17-22, you should have stopped reading this post, but instead have started calling your two other friends to join you in this challenge. That’s your ultimate wish after all — travel for free.
