Joshua Oliveros is The Voice Kids PH Season 3 Grand Champion

The Voice Kids Philippines 2016 Grand Winner

An eleven-year-old boy from Antique is The Voice Kids Philippines Season 3 grand winner. Acquiring 38.07 percent of the total votes, Joshua Oliveros beat Antonetthe Tismo and Jason Alva who got 36.69 percent and 25.24 percent, respectively.

The boy has always been vocal about his wish of having his family get back together again. On Sunday’s Power Ballad Round and results show, his parents and siblings were there to cheer and give him support. He belted a heartfelt rendition of Yeng Constantino’s OPM hit “Salamat”. Coach Lea shared that the boy doesn’t want a house. He wants a home – a “tahanan.” She challenged Joshua to use that dream as his inspiration to deliver a solid performance that would win him votes.

“You are perfection on stage,” Coach Lea said. She also emphasized his consistency and heartfelt performances during the whole competition.

And as fate would have it, Joshua gave Team Familea the first victory in the show’s kids edition. With Coach Lea on the side, his reaction when he was announced winner and while holding the trophy is just priceless.

Joshua bagged the grand prize that includes Camella house and lot, P1 million H&M trust fund, P1 million cash prize, and MCA Music recording contract.

The finale show ended with a happy picture of a family. Joshua sang “Salamat” again while father and mother are standing by his side.
