A Luxurious Stay at the World-Class Pan Pacific Singapore

Pan Pacific Singapore as a wedding venue

SINGAPORE — To splurge a little to pamper ourselves after months of hard work is not merely necessary, it is wise.

We all deserve to taste ultimate comfort, if not everyday, at least every now and then, so to help keep our sanity, freshen up our mind and body, and be ready to take off in life once more.

When it comes to luxurious accommodations, Singapore is the country with plenty of choices. Being a first-world nation that it is, the Merlion city caters to the middle and upper classes. Pan Pacific Singapore is the perfect example of hotels of choice for that. Located at Singapore’s financial and business district at 7 Raffles Boulevard in Marina Square, Pan Pacific Singapore is touted as the World’s Leading Business Hotel by World Travel Awards.

Don’t get me wrong. Singapore has good options for both luxurious travelers and backpackers alike. During our first visits here, we choose good hotels for the entire duration of our stay except for long-term vacations wherein we would choose AirBnb.

Spacious rooms in a world-class hotel

Pan Pacific Singapore rooms

Businessman-friendly, each room is equipped with the things you need as you enjoy the comfort of the hotel room.

Just 20 minutes drive away from Changi Airport, it is where the business happenings is. The SUNTEC Convention Center is just five minutes away while its closes MRT, Esplanade station, is just five-minute walk away.

Its 700+ spacious rooms is well-prepared to cater for business people. Sound-proofed and equipped with a working table and a mini-bar, you can catch up at work while sipping your favorite drink.

The King-sized bed is so comfy. It has a very huge bathroom with shower and bubble bath. Each room has everything one needs for a peaceful stay. Guests may choose to either wake up with the view of Singapore’s Marina Bay or the city skyline.

The Ultimate Favorites

Aside from the room, my favorite places in this five-star hotel include its posh-looking lobby (see featured photo that’s actually look perfect with that beautiful bride), its beautiful pool, and its restaurants. Like what I said on my previous blog entry about it, what I loved the most here is the Pacific Club at the 38th floor, which offers not only premium food choices but also a panoramic view of Singapore skyline, Marina Bay, and the West Philippines Sea. You just have to be a Pacific Club Member to enjoy this restaurant as it requires premium access.

Like everyone else however, we believe that no matter how comfy the rooms or no matter how good the architecture of any hotel could get, if their kitchen fails, everything fails. If there’s one thing Pan Pacific Singapore perfected over the years however, it’s their kitchen and services department.

Pacific Club. Keyaki. The Edge. The hotel’s restaurants offers a feast to love. On one Sunday, we experienced the hotel’s Sunday Champagne Brunch at The EDGE, where we had some of Singapore’s best food choices over some bottles of Champagne. It was all worth it.

The Edge Restaurant - Pan Pacific Singapore

Edge food choices are good for the eyes but they are wonderful for the tummies too.

Lauded as one of Singapore’s longest brunches, the popular four-hour brunch features a Knife Shaved Crudo Bar alongside the signature Caviar Bar and premium Seafood on Ice, as well as an additional range of artisanal Irish Cheeses complementing the famous Scorched Raclette Cheese live station available at the Farmer’s Cheese Theatre.

How about a bottle of Champagne, caviars, and premium seafood on Ice, folks?

Pan Pacific Singapore The EDGE Restaurant

Depending on the occasion, Edge transform as well. During Lunar New Year, you may opt for a thematic buffet spread at Edge with a splendid selection of traditional Chinese New Year delicacies and contemporary interpretations.

In 2017, it was nominated as one of the Best Buffet Restaurants and Blogger’s Choice in the @chopesg Diner’s Choice Awards, and for this blogger, it is a winner on its own.

Pan Pacific Singapore Keyaki Restaurant

This beauty is found at Keyaki restaurant that offers Japanese cuisines with a twist like this unique Premium Yu Sheng with luxurious Sea Urchin and Lobster.

I can only be excited for my next Pan Pacific Singapore stay as this nation is strengthening its position in terms of becoming a prime tourist destination in Southeast Asia, focusing more on being a businessmen-and-family-friendly travel destination.

With its awesome transportation and communication infrastructures, family-friendly spaces, and businessmen-friendly establishments, it seems that Singapore is already one. During one of my visit to Marina Bay recently, we were asked to answer a few questions in a survey commissioned by its tourism board focusing on their being a business tourism hub in Southeast Asia. Till our next visit!
