Louis Tomlinson Plays Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 17, the First One Direction Member in Manila Since Liam Payne’s Death

Louis Tomlinson, who plays Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on October 17, 2026

Louis Tomlinson returns to Quezon City on October 17, with tickets from ₱2,500. Here is what to know before the show.

Niall Horan was the last member of One Direction, the British boy band formed on The X Factor in 2010, to perform in the Philippines, playing Manila in May 2024. Five months later, his former bandmate Liam Payne died in Buenos Aires at 31. On October 17, 2026, Louis Tomlinson becomes the next member to play Manila, and the first since Payne’s death, when he brings his How Did We Get Here? World Tour to Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The date falls one day after the second anniversary of Payne’s death on October 16, 2024. The tour began in Europe in March. Other stops include two nights in Japan and dates in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

What He Is Touring

The tour title is one word off from Tomlinson’s third solo album, How Did I Get Here?, which came out in January 2026, led by the singles “Lemonade,” “Palaces” and “Imposter.” The tour set list draws on all three of his albums, according to Philstar, and includes his own versions of two One Direction songs, “Night Changes” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go.”

The six ticket tiers run from ₱2,500 for general admission, which is free seating, to ₱9,750 for the Patron section, the most expensive seats in the house.

Back at the Big Dome

Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Cubao arena Filipinos call the Big Dome, is the same venue Tomlinson played on July 16, 2022, during his first solo tour for his debut album, Walls. That show was originally planned for the smaller New Frontier Theater, also in Cubao, until Live Nation Philippines, the local arm of the global concert promoter, moved it to the Coliseum in June 2022 because of demand. His first Manila visit came earlier, with One Direction in March 2015 on the On the Road Again Tour, which makes October his third.

The 2026 date was announced for the Coliseum from the start, on July 15. Live Nation Philippines is promoting it again, with general sales through TicketNet, the Philippine ticketing platform, which opened on July 30.
