PICTURE A PICNIC under cherry blossoms, petals carpeting the ground, a bag of your favorite potato snacks in your lap. It’s a very specific daydream, and Jack ‘n Jill Calbee wants to make it real for three lucky winners.
The snack brand is running Besto Potato pop-up stores around Metro Manila, and every visit is a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to Japan for four: you and three of your favorite people.
How to Join
Visit any Besto Potato pop-up store. Every P199 worth of purchases gets you a raffle entry, so the more you buy, the more entries you have.

We already did. Yesterday, we dropped by the first pop-up at Bonifacio High Street, tried the activities, and made sure our entry was in. It’s open until today, July 3, if you’re nearby.

What’s in the Store
The Japanese-themed pop-up stocks the brand’s full lineup of premium potato snacks:
- Jagabee Potato Fries: Cheese, Classic Salted, and Garlic
- Pizza Potato: Regular and Spicy
- Potato Chips: Classic Salted, Wasabi, and Cheddar and Sour Cream
- Ripples (new): Nori, and Sour Cream and Onion

There’s limited-edition merchandise too: Jaga plush toys, stationery, tees, pillows, and more.
Bring the Kids
The activities are half the fun. A Virtual Reality Booth drops you into an adventure, the Trick Art Booth gives you a creative snapshot, and the Pizza Potato Game has you catching flurries of cheese inside a glass tube. At the TV Commercial booth, you or your kids can star in your own Jack ‘n Jill Calbee ad, and with some luck, end up in an online video on their Facebook page.
Where the Pop-Ups Go Next
- Alabang Town Center: July 16 and 17
- UP Town Center: July 30 and 31
- Robinsons Place Manila: August 5 and 6
- More malls in the coming months
Pop-up stores are also coming to 15 universities in Metro Manila. Students can join the Japan promo by posting about their pop-up store experience on Facebook with the hashtags #JacknJillCalbee, #BESTOPOTATO, and #TakeUsToJapan.
See you in Japan?
