Did you feel the quake? Make sure that you’re in a safer place now. Here’s praying that everyone is safe especially that there’ll be a lot of aftershocks.
We were scared a bit as Earthquake hit Metro Manila and the nearby cities at around 9pm today, April 4. It was just moments ago.
With the news about the Big One, we can do nothing but pray for everyone’s safety.

Location = 13.71°N, 120.83°E – 007 km N 37° W of Tingloy (Batangas)
Intensity IV – Makati City, Obando, Bulacan
Intensity III – Mandaluyong City, Quezon City, Gen. trias & Dasmarinas, Cavite, Santa Ana, Manila,
Lucena City, Quezon
Intensity II – Talisay, Batangas; Pasig City
Batangas was hit badly. My friends in the city felt the tremors for hours. Happy to know they are not hurt.

There was no threat of a tsunami but aftershocks were expected, Solidum said.
“We don’t expect significant damage in many areas but we need to make sure that the other areas near the epicenter would report there are slight damages. At this stage, the highest intensity reported so far is intensity VI in Batangas City, and the rest will be much lower,” Solidum told CNN Philippines.
