Jason Mraz plays SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27, with tickets from ₱2,500. Here is what to know before the show.

Jason Mraz is starting his first Asia tour in seven years in Manila. On October 27, 2026, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter plays SM Mall of Asia Arena, the Pasay City venue known as the MOA Arena. The tour then moves to Bangkok on October 29 and Kuala Lumpur on October 31, with Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul following in November. It is his first Manila concert since May 2019.

The shows are billed as a full-band retrospective drawn from a catalog of more than 20 years. Pulp Live World, the Manila promoter presenting the concert, is promoting “I’m Yours,” which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart, alongside “I Won’t Give Up” and “Lucky.”

Seven Years of Changing Direction

Mraz has stayed busy since the last Manila show. He released a reggae album, Look for the Good, in 2020 and the disco-pop Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride in 2023, the year he also finished as runner-up on season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, the American celebrity dance competition. Now nearly 50, he told the South China Morning Post ahead of his Hong Kong date, “I’m not trying to be a flirt, like in my twenties.” The smooth-talking persona of his earlier years is not what he brings to the stage now, he said.

A Gospel Album for His Grandmother

Mraz released Grandma’s Gospel Favorites on May 8. He first recorded the ten-track album nearly two decades ago as a gift for his grandmother, and the release serves as a tribute to her. His website describes it as a mix of classic country, bluegrass, and the gospel television and radio of her era.

Back at the Mall of Asia Arena

His last Manila show was on May 8, 2019, at the same arena, on the Good Vibes tour, also presented by Pulp Live World. Philstar’s review of that night said he played with his all-female band Raining Jane and gave the live debut of “Could I Love You Anymore,” a duet with Filipina YouTube artist Reneé Dominique. He had played Manila in 2013 and 2014 as well.
