OriginOS 7 Philippines Rollout: Which vivo Phones Get It First, and Which Wait Until 2027

OriginOS 7 rollout

If you use a vivo phone, the next four months decide when its software changes. vivo Philippines has released its rollout schedule for OriginOS 7, the newest version of the software layer vivo runs on top of Android. The schedule covers 19 models in six batches, starting at the end of October 2026 and ending at the end of February 2027.

The order mostly follows price. Flagships go first, mid-range models follow, and the Lite phones and oldest models come last.

Flagships First, Lite Phones Last

The X Series gets the update first. The X300 Pro, X300, X300 FE, X300 Ultra, and the X Fold5, vivo’s book-style foldable, are in the first batch at the end of October. Last year’s X200, X200 Pro, and X200 FE follow in mid-November.

The V Series is split by model. The V70, V70 FE, and V60 come in mid-December, and the V50 gets its own slot at the end of December.

The Lite phones wait the longest of the newer models. The vivo V80 Lite, which opened Philippine pre-orders only on October 4, is in the fifth batch for the end of January 2027. It shares that slot with the V60 Lite, the V50 Lite, and the older V40, and lands after older V Series models like the V50 and V60, even though it’s the newest phone on the list. The V30 Pro, V30, and V30e close out the schedule at the end of February.

What the Update Brings

vivo describes OriginOS 7 as an everyday-use update: smoother system interactions, better resource management, and new productivity tools. The headline additions are AI-assisted audio transcription, which turns recorded speech such as a meeting into text, new multitasking tools, and file sharing with compatible vivo devices.

vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu framed the update around routine tasks like switching apps, organizing notes from a meeting, and moving files between devices. An OS update, Liu said, matters most “when users can feel the difference in their everyday routines.”

Read the Fine Print

vivo calls the schedule planned and subject to confirmation. A model being on the list doesn’t mean the update arrives on the first day of its scheduled month, and timing can vary by device. If your X300 hasn’t updated by the end of October, check vivo Philippines’ official announcements for your model before assuming you were skipped.
