STAR CINEMA HAS just released the movie trailer for ‘Barcelona: A Love Untold,’ the newest film from the couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, directed by Olivia Lamasan. Screenwriter Carmi Raymundo (A Second Chance) penned the movie.

‘Barcelona’ is set to hit Philippine theaters this September, and the trailer alone is enough to send KathNiel’s fans into a frenzy.

The film was shot 70 percent in Spain’s capital city of Barcelona, with the rest filmed in other parts of the country. Beyond the love story, the movie also showcases the country’s beautiful scenery and tells the story of the struggles Filipino workers face on that side of the world.

With Lamasan’s expertise behind it, I’d like to believe this could be KathNiel’s best film yet. If handled well, and with the couple’s massive following behind it, ‘Barcelona’ could even surpass the success of ‘Milan,’ which starred Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto and remains one of my favorite movies to date.
