Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has gotten a second crown, this time from the kids who have loved her to bits since she was crowned Miss Universe earlier this year.

“Queen of our Hearts” is the title Jollibee and the kids gave the beauty queen at a party she hosted for the orphans of Manila’s ERMA Foundation at Jollibee Bautista-Buendia on March 31.

Pia earlier revealed in a Buzzfeed Philippines interview that she’s a Jollibee fan, with Chickenjoy as her favorite. Whenever she’s home, she never fails to visit Jollibee for a meal or two, but today was different: she had a meal with the kids at the Jollibee lunch party. It was Pia’s second trip home since her win.

The Jollibee branch quickly turned into a playground for the four- to eight-year-old kids who, like Pia and her entourage, were served a filling meal of two-piece Chickenjoy, a chocolate sundae, and Peach Mango Pie. They were also treated to a special dance number by the Jollibee and Friends mascots.

If there’s one lesson Pia could give the kids, it would be, “Importante na lagi tayong maging magalang sa mga nakakatanda sa atin, mag-aaral nang mabuti, at parating magdasal, lalo na bago kumain (It is important that we are respectful to our elders, study well, and always pray, especially before meals).”

It can be recalled that Pia joined the local Binibining Pilipinas pageant three times before winning the crown to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe. Her victory ended a 63-year drought since the country last won the Miss Universe crown and brought jubilation to Filipinos here and abroad.

As a special gift to the kids, Pia distributed Jollibee toys and gamely posed for photos with them.

Growing up, Pia has always been a fan of the fastfood brand and even celebrated one of her memorable birthdays as a kid with a Jollibee party.
