VALENTINA RASOLUVA of Russia was just adjudged winner of Miss Intercontinental 2015, while the Philippines’ Christi Lynn McGarry won first runner-up on Saturday (Philippine time), December 19 in Germany. McGarry’s runner-up placement is a welcome treat for the Philippines, as it’s the highest placement the country has achieved in this pageant so far. McGarry represented the Philippines for the second time in this pageant. The first was back in 2010, when the local franchise was still owned by Mutya ng Pilipinas, and she was one of the 15 semi-finalists.
