MONTHS AFTER the successful run of ‘My Korean Jagiya,’ and after a short stay in South Korea to finish his studies, Korean actor Alexander Lee is back in Manila — this time to rekindle his love for music.

A former member of the globally known group U-Kiss, Alexander tried acting solo before teaming up with fellow Korean artist Marucci, well known in Korea for his musical artistry, on the single ‘Keep Ya Head Up.’ The duo, now called AXM (Alexander X Marucci), aims to make music that inspires and cheers up listeners and fans. Alexander and Marucci performed live for the press at K-Pub Bar and Restaurant at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City today to preview their collaboration.

‘Keep Ya Head Up’ can be streamed and downloaded from Melon, iTunes, Spotify, Mnet, and other leading music sites worldwide.

Alexander is GMA Artist Center’s resident oppa. He was first seen on Philippine Television as Heart Evangelista’s Korean Jagiya (Korean Honey), which ended on January 12, 2018 with 105 episodes.

Aside from AXM, Marucci also has a separate collaboration with Filipina singer Rita Daniela, whom he handpicked after hearing her sing. The Filipina singer also performed live for the press. In a short chat, Rita said she’s excited about her own current project, a theater musical about Apo Hiking Society.
