A LOT OF COLDPLAY ticket holders announced on social media that they’re selling their tickets the moment Wilbros announced, on March 28, that pop icon Britney Spears is coming to Manila.
They’re choosing Britney over Coldplay, and honestly, we can’t blame them.
Or maybe, just maybe, they were never really Coldplay fans to begin with.
It’s Britney’s first concert in the Philippines, so consider June 15, 2017 a holiday for her Filipino fans as they flock to the Mall of Asia Arena.
Coldplay, presented by MMI Live, is set to warm the hearts of their Filipino fans on Tuesday, April 4 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. The band just wrapped a successful two-night concert at the National Stadium in Singapore yesterday, April 1.
In fact, plenty of our Filipino friends even flew to Singapore to catch the band early, thanks to cheaper ticket prices there compared to Manila. Around 50,000 people attended each concert day in Singapore, and by all accounts, they walked away in full admiration of the show.

Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ concert tour is scheduled to hit other Asian countries next: Taiwan (April 12), Korea (April 15), and Japan (April 19).
