THE PHILIPPINES COULD very well win Miss World 2016, with Catriona Gray putting up a strong fight in a pageant set to conclude Sunday night, December 18, 2016 (US time), at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

As of this writing, Catriona has advanced to the semi-finals (Top 20) of the pageant’s 66th edition, after winning the Multi-Media award earlier today. On top of that, she placed second in the Talent competition, made the top 10 in Top Model, and is one of five finalists for ‘Beauty with a Purpose,’ with the winner set to be announced tomorrow.

Then there’s still the ongoing People’s Choice award, where we’re confident she’s among the frontrunners too. If we’re being honest, Catriona looks like she’s leading the pack right now, but since nothing’s official until it’s announced, all we can do is pray and cheer our beauty queen on to conquer the world with her smile, beauty, wit, and above all, her kindness.

From bikini to gown, streets to beach, studio to catwalk, all the way to earning the right to wear the Philippines’ sash — we love Catriona.
