IN THE NEXT two weeks, we will vote for the next leaders of this country. Have you done your homework, or are you sticking to the one candidate you believe will take the country to greater heights without checking the facts first?

Before we decide, let’s take a step back and do our research. We need to make an informed decision, or the whole country will suffer.

This isn’t only our personal advocacy. YouTube stars, including celebrity chef Erwan Heusaff and singer-musician Yael Yuson, collaborated on Google Philippines’ #GoogleMoMuna campaign, and we fully support it.

The video, “Be Informed: #GoogleMoMuna,” urges Filipinos to stay in the know about the latest issues so they can better take part in lively, healthy discussions about the country.

Gail Tan, Google Philippines Head of Communications and Public Affairs, says, “Google believes that part of being a significant part of the country’s development as citizens is arming ourselves with the right information. There are a lot of resources online. We encourage everyone to seize that advantage and be part of informed conversations that will address issues in our country.”
