SPORTS ENTHUSIASTS have a new partner in Ayala Land’s Vermosa Estate, which is promoting a healthy, active lifestyle by rallying a new breed of athletes with another exciting event: the Vermosa Active Revolution.
The 700-hectare master-planned, mixed-use estate in Cavite will host the two-day event on December 3 and 4. Vermosa Estate sits a 55-minute drive from Makati, mainly accessible via Daang Hari Road through MCX (Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway) and the soon-to-open CALAX (Cavite-Laguna Expressway).
Members of the media, this blogger included, got a preview of what to expect during the press launch on November 10 in Makati, along with a sneak peek at the special lineup of performers headlined by Drop and Roll, led by world-renowned street trials rider Danny MacAskill and his crew, marking their first visit to the Philippines and Asia as part of their world tour.

An active lifestyle revolution
This high-octane extravaganza is set to thrill the senses through the Vermosa Active Revolution’s Kinetic, Inspire, and Refresh activity zones.
At the Kinetic Zone, Danny MacAskill’s jaw-dropping Drop and Roll exhibition is expected to rouse local riders and enthusiasts alike. With shows scheduled for December 3 at 4pm and 7pm and December 4 at 4pm, participants can also grab freebies and meet the stunt bike superstar and his team — Duncan Shaw, Fabio Wibmer, and Ali C — in person.
Various cycling clinics and bike rentals will also be available at the Vermosa Bike Skills Park, with the motocross track hosting activities for riders too. The Ninja Academy will set up a parkour obstacle course for festival-goers to try, alongside other surprises, while a poi LED performance by Planet Zips caps off a night of fun-filled activities.
The Inspire Zone will host one of the South’s biggest sports and lifestyle expos, where attendees can jumpstart their active living with great deals from the country’s hottest retail brands like JB Sports, KTM Bikes, Fox Gear, Columbia, Top Bike Shops, and many more.
The Refresh Zone brings good food and good music to revitalize mind, body, and soul, with acoustic artists and DJs keeping the energy up, plus food truck vendors rolling into Cavite’s first Gastro Food Truck Park to fuel festival-goers. All told, the Vermosa Active Revolution promises to be a one-of-a-kind pre-Christmas gift for everyone.
