THE UNITED STATES has a new queen ready to represent it on the world stage: Miss USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers of Nebraska, crowned tonight, May 21, 2018, at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Miss USA 2017 Kára McCullough of the District of Columbia. Summers will represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant later this year, competing against the Philippines’ Catriona Gray and contestants from around the world. She is the 67th Miss USA winner.
Two other finalists rounded out the Top 3 before the final question-and-answer round decided the winner: Miss North Carolina Caelynn Miller-Keyes placed first runner-up, and Nevada’s Carolina Urrea took second runner-up.

Then there was the Top 15 quarter-finalists that include: Maryland’s Brittinay Nicolette, Massachusetts’ Allissa Latham, Michigan’s Elizabeth Johnson, Oregon’s Toneata Morgan, and Texas’ Logan Lester.
